Maxwell Health, the Boston-based startup providing cloud-based software for HR managers administering corporate health and benefit plans, has raised $22 million, the company announced on Monday.
Maxwell Health partners with brokers from health and life insurance companies and retirement brokers to serve small- and medium-sized businesses that may not otherwise have access to a comprehensive benefits system.
This new round of funding comes in part from two new benefit partners, The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America and Sun Life Financial, as well as Cendana Capital, and brings its total capital raised to $56.4 million.
