On Wednesday, MassChallenge announced the latest crop of startups we’ll be keeping an eye on this coming year. For its 2015 session, it has selected 219 companies that will be hosted at its Boston- and UK-based accelerators this summer.

The finalists run the gamut from high-tech lifesaving devices to literal haymakers. Among 128 the startups that will be camping out in the Seaport this year are an an affordable marijuana potency analyzer, PMS-bites for women, in-home haircutting services, a sweater-saving solution, a recovery app for drug and alcohol addicts, and a glasses-free 3-D system. Another 90 will be setting up shop in MassChallenge’s UK office.

Over the past six years since it launched, MassChallenge says the 617 teams it has supported have raised over $930 million in funding, and created over 5,000 jobs.

“The 200+ startups that will be entering our 2015 accelerator include many of the highest-impact startups in the world,” MassChallenge chief executive John Harthorne said. “From Boston to London to Israel and beyond, the global distribution of these early stage companies highlights the universal need and opportunity to provide startups with access to key people and resources to help them launch and succeed.”
